Starting in Kindergarten each class takes part in a cross-country race near the start of the year. It is a BIG deal to you and your friends and determines bragging rights for the year. So far you have won each year and I have been there to see you. Apparently Matthew brings out his second place ribbon every time his Grandpa comes over...
You were psyched on the day and confident. I would never tell you but my heart was racing and I was nervous for you!
Matthew was ahead at the start...but then I saw you come around the final corner and you finished first by a country mile!
