Naples, Positano, Pompeii

On our last day we arrived in Naples and made our way to the Amalfi Coast and Positano for lunch.  It was so beautiful.
After the Amalfo coast we went to Pompeii and had a very unexpected day learning about this town that had been covered in volcanic ash from the distant Mount Vesuvius.  I was awestruck and this turned out to be an unexpected delight for us.
We loved learning about the way of life of the people, their shops, and carts and brothels...
And then their untimely and tragic demise.  The cast forms of the deceased were terrifying and profound.  I loved this stop.

Just had to include Aaron's packing outfit as he placed our bags outside the door for collection on our last night.
Such a nice surprise on our return!
Couldn't wait to see you monkeys so we picked you up from school early!
