Animal Kingdom was so much fun. This enormous and detailed tree was in the centre of the park, similar to the castle at Magic Kingdom. We started the day getting some fast passes to some really cool things. The Avatar ride was brand new and was the hot ticket in town. We had heard people all over town talking about how the line was 5 hours long and fast passes to it were unheard of. We somehow started chatting with a staff member and she showed us a trick she knew: she took our day passes and swiped them on her ipad and just kept refreshing and refreshing and refreshing.....and finally we got two! So we had to wait until later that night but we definitely got onto the hot new ride!! And it was awesome!! I had to really impress because of all the hype and it really was worth the buzz. It was 4D and totally awesome.
Your other favourite ride was called Everest. We would go on it and then you would ask if we could do it again?! So as is the rule on these Mom trips, the answer is always YES! So we just kept getting in line over and over again. It WAS a really fun ride.

Oh, and these were all the rage. They are little avatar dragons that sit on your shoulder and operate via remote control. They make sounds and flap their wings. Literally every person in the park had a box with one of these in it. They had to make a limit of one per customer...
They ARE kinda cool.
