Although you boys are obsessed with skiing this winter Mom got her way with a one week (pffft) trip to Hawaii this Spring Break. (What is wrong with you guys??)
Anyways, we all had a blast there in the end and these are some of the highlights.
We stayed at the Fairmont Orchid and Mom attended the UBC Ortho Symposium there for morning sessions that week. Our colleague from Western, Ben Pliska ran the course and his wife Roxanna was there too so it was fun to catch up with them.
We took a weaving class where we wove a little fish on a line out of palm fronds:
