A Big Weekend in Van

We went to Vancouver the first weekend of December this year and packed in the activities!
The Friday night we saw a new Cirque show downtown called Kurios.  It had a steampunk vibe and was visually stunning of course.

Of course, when we got back to the hotel we tried out all the tricks ourselves....
I think we were ALMOST as good as the professionals...

On the Saturday night we used a nanny agency the Fairmont recommended and uses all the time and a babysitter came right to our room to watch you guys.  She came equipped with toys and games and and all, how amazing!  Dad and I went to Black and Blue Steakhouse and had a lovely dinner followed by the National concert at the QE Theatre.
Fun night!

On the Sunday we met up with Kim, Conan and Olivia in Squamish and rode the Polar Express Train!  It was so awesome and I wish we had worn out PJs as so many others did.  Next year!
The characters were exactly as in the movie, it was crazy!
We rode the train around Squamish and had cookies and hot chocolate and then explored the Christmas village they had set up after.  What a fun day and a FULL weekend!
