You boys stayed in Oakville with Grandma and Papa for a week after Mom and Dad went home to spend some time with them and to let Mom and Dad sort out the house sale in Nanoose (yay!). You got up to many exiting things such as a trip to Medieval Times:
On the way back to Nanaimo there was an athlete on the flight from the PanAm Games. Grandma enquired about this Gold Medal winning athlete and found out that it was Tory Nyhaug that had just won gold for BMX for Canada! What are the chances! He was on his way home to Vancouver where he lives. Of course Grandma managed to get a photo with you and him and had a chat about your love of the sport. What a thrill! What a nice guy, go Tory!
