We planted this Paul's Scarlet Hawthorn tree in the front yard at the cottage to watch it grow with you boys. I have to say it's looking pretty pathetic so far. Steven said that the owner of the nursery had pruned it prior to letting it leave however ti made it look disturbingly sparse. I keep looking for signs of life nad the other day I had the first. There are a number of tiny buds just starting to sprout on the branches. Here's hoping this is a positive sign. Go tree!
